Hello! My name is Melinda, and I've been a hand knitter since 1981 and
a Bond machine knitter since 2002. I'm also the wife (for twenty-one years) of an orchestra musician, the
stay-at-home mom of two daughters (ages 10 and 13), and the daytime companion of two cats, a dog and a parakeet. Somewhere
in the distant past I was also a C.P.A. My family lives in the Cleveland area, to which we relocated from Michigan
about three years ago.
The "Warm Wishes" name comes my first foray into "commercial" knitting, when I produced
tiny sweaters (about 3" tall) as Christmas ornaments in 1994. I made labels bearing the "Warm Wishes" name for
those sweaters, and have always thought that the name well represents the thought and care that go into every handmade item.
On this website I will share news and photos of my knitting projects in a blog,
as well as occasional ideas about other things I find interesting. I will try to add photos and patterns frequently. I
hope you find something that entertains, intrigues or inspires you!
